Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Rushit Choksey (“we”), who run Brownie Points. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use it
Brownie Points is open to all ages. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms with you before you sign up, and you confirm this when you make an account. The parent or guardian is responsible for the child’s use of the app. You’re responsible for keeping your password private and for what happens on your account.
What Brownie Points is
A free app for keeping a friendly score of kind things people do for each other. Brownie Points have no cash value, can’t be bought, sold or exchanged for money, and rewards are informal promises between players, not something we provide or guarantee.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you add: your name, photo, bio, game titles and deed titles. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people in your games, only so the app works. Don’t add anything you don’t have the right to share.
Be decent
Don’t use the app to harass, threaten or pressure anyone, to post anything illegal, sexual or hateful, to impersonate someone, or to break, overload or probe the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from Edit profile. Accounts are also deleted after 24 months of inactivity, as explained in the Privacy Policy. We may stop offering the app; if we do, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice in the app so you can download your data.
No warranty
The app is provided as is, free of charge. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses or for disputes between players. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app before the change applies. Using the app after that means you accept the new terms.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions go to rushitchoksey@gmail.com.
